Shadowhunters è da poco stata cancellata dal palinsesto di Freeform ma ora potrebbe far manbassa di premi ai Teen Choice Awards 2018. La serie fantasy tratta dai romanzi di Cassandra Clare, è infatti candidata per ben cinque premi: miglior serie fantasy, Katherine McNamara e Emeraude Toubia come migliori attrici in una serie fantasy, Matthew Daddario e Dominic Sherwood come miglior attrice e miglior attore in una serie fantasy. Cinque candidature le ha collezionate anche la serie Riverdale.
