Shadowhunters, terminate le riprese della serie: i protagonisti salutano i fan

Una speranza, seppur molto tenue, che Shadowhunters possa essere salvata dalla cancellazione definitiva da Netflix esiste ancora, ma con il passare dei giorni questa speranza si sta facendo sempre più debole. È così che, salvo sorprese, quelle terminate nelle scorse ore sono le ultime riprese in assoluto della serie TV fantasy tratta dai romanzi della scrittrice Cassandra Clare. Katherine McNamara e colleghi hanno terminato di girare gli ultimi episodi di quella che è la terza e ultima stagione dello show e sui social network hanno salutato e ringraziato i fan.

“Shadowhunters è stato una benedizione angelica. Clary mi ha insegnato molto più di quanto possa esprimere. Lei è forte, coraggiosa, compassionevole, tosta e complicata. Amo ogni sua imperfezione. Sarà sempre parte di me" si legge in un post su Instagram della protagonista di Katherine McNamara.

“La storia non finisce qui – ha poi continuato sempre su Instagram l'attrice – Vive e continua in tutti noi, se portiamo avanti l’eredità di Shadowhunters come un gruppo di persone che sostiene l’accettazione, l’amore e l’unità. Addio miei angeli".

Playing Clary is an honor that has taught me more than I can express. She is strong, courageous, compassionate, badass, and broken, and I love every little imperfect piece of her. She will always be a part of me and I’d like to think I left a little part of me with her. Beyond that, the family created from the cast and crew, to the writers and producers, to you angels is something to be cherished. Being a part of a story that resonates for so many people and has a real positive influence on their lives is a rare gift and privilege that I will forever treasure. We have been breathing rarified air here in the Shadow World, whether or not we knew it. This experience is lightning in a bottle and I will spend the rest of my life trying to find it again. Shadowhunters: la serie TV chiude, Alberto Rosente saluta i fan

Oltre a Katherine McNamara, anche Alberto Rosende (il Simon Lewis della serie TV) ha salutato i fan di Shadowhunters con un post su Instagram: "Abbiamo creato un mondo meraviglioso pieno di bellezza e amore. Abbiamo combattuto insieme, abbiamo pianto e, cosa importante, abbiamo amato. Le mie speranze sono alte e guardano all’eredità di Shadowhunters".
